YCABC/AARP TAX-AIDE PROGRAM: FREE TAX PREP SERVICES – 2023 TAX SEASON

Tax season is nearly here! Don’t miss YOUR chance for help in filing your 2023 tax return for free! 

The YCABC has actively supported the AARP Tax-Aide program for 12 years. This program offers IRS-certified tax preparers available to help you complete and file your return – at absolutely no cost to you! Just knowing that a professional is handling your taxes takes the stress out of tax season – and can save you money! Making mistakes can be very costly; there are tax credits available that many people miss because they are not even aware of them, and the Federal tax laws can change year to year.

HOW IT WORKS:

How do I make an appointment: The YCABC partners with People for People’s GC 2-1-1 Program to schedule appointments. The start date for scheduling appointments – typically set for mid-January – will be posted on our HOME and PROGRAMS pages as soon as it’s announced.

Where do I go for my appointment: There are numerous locations throughout Yakima and Kittitas Counties; when you make your appointment, the call taker will help you find one which is convenient for you.

What do I need to bring: A complete list of documents can be found under our Programs page.

When do I get my refund: The sooner you file your return, the sooner you can expect a refund, if applicable. Choosing e-filing and direct deposit is the fastest method.
