The Yakima County Asset Building Coalition, otherwise known as theycabc.org, supports the AARP free tax program, where you can meet with IRS-certified tax preparers to help prepare and file your return at absolutely no cost to you! HOW IT WORKS:

How do I make an appointment: Theycabc.org partners with People for People’s GC 2-1-1 Program to schedule appointments. THE GC 2-1-1 call center is accepting calls now to schedule your appointment. Just call 211!

Where do I go for my appointment: There are numerous locations throughout Yakima and Kittitas Counties; when you make your appointment, the call taker will help you find one which is most convenient for you.

What do I need to bring: When you call for your appointment, the call taker will have the information you need; also, a complete list of documents can be found under our Programs page.

When do I get my refund: The sooner you file your return, the sooner you can expect a refund, if applicable. Choosing e-filing and direct deposit is the fastest method.
